Alyssa's dance class

Alyssa likes to move it, move it.  So we were excited to sign her up for dance class at Dance Extreme.  They were so great with her.  She loved the entire session and cannot wait to go back next week.  Thank you to Grandpa and Rose Grandma for the adorable dance outfit.

Books and the kids

Often I will walk into the living room and both kids each have a book in their laps and are "reading" them.  On a few occasions, I happen to have the camera handy to capture such a blissful moment. 

Disney on Ice

Tickets to see Disney on Ice was a gift from Grandpa and Rose Grandma.  We love Disney at our house, so Al was super excited.  We weren't sure what to do with Zach as sometimes doesn't have the greatest attention span.  I'm so glad we ended up taking him.  He loved seeing the lights and skaters.  He danced to the music and watched everything that went on.

Zach's first hair cut

It was time to cut the locks...he was starting to look like Justin Bieber.  This place was great.  He was so distracted by everything that he let the hair dresser cut his hair beautifully.  He still has his curls and it almost looks thicker now than it did before.  My little baby has instantly turned into a boy :)

Elf on the Shelf

Alyssa needed a little "push" to be on her best behaviour (i.e. Mom was losing her mind with the arguing between her and Zach and not listening to us).  I had seen the Elf on the Shelf and thought it'd be a fun introduction into our family.  Once we decided on a name, we called him Boyo.  First he was Deep, the Dope, and a few days later she called him Boyo.

Alyssa went ahead and grabbed Boyo off the window ledge to get her fishing pole.  You're not allowed to touch him because he loses his magic.  The next night he didn't have enough magic to fully land so he got stuck in the ceiling fan with his parachute open.  Poor Boyo.
