Alyssa needed a little "push" to be on her best behaviour (i.e. Mom was losing her mind with the arguing between her and Zach and not listening to us). I had seen the Elf on the Shelf and thought it'd be a fun introduction into our family. Once we decided on a name, we called him Boyo. First he was Deep, the Dope, and a few days later she called him Boyo.

| Alyssa went ahead and grabbed Boyo off the window ledge to get her fishing pole. You're not allowed to touch him because he loses his magic. The next night he didn't have enough magic to fully land so he got stuck in the ceiling fan with his parachute open. Poor Boyo. |
