Great Lakes Farms
We go through so many apples and applesauce at home that this year we wanted to pick our own apples again. We drove to Port Stanley to Great Lakes Farms. Their selection was fantastic as the trees were dwarf trees and the kids could reach the apples. Everyone enjoyed a few apples along the way. Zach enjoyed his more than the rest of us as that was basically all he did. I think it'll be a place we visit again. Oh, we also stood in line for a fresh out of the oven apple pie. We can't wait until supper time!! If the pie lasts until then :)

Rainy day craft
This year we decided to enter something for the Ilderton Fair. Alyssa wanted to make an egg carton caterpillar. Today just happened to be the perfect rainy day for such an activity.

Zach's first day of nursery school
We were fortunate enough to have Lori take Zach and Alyssa on full time again. She does great work with our kids. She will have Zach every day at nursery school and take Alyssa before and after school. Zach sure loves it there with all the other kids. As of right now he doesn't seem to be missing Alyssa too much. They do play hard together once they get home.

First day of school
We are so excited/nervous about our first day. We know how to do everything on our own but are a bit nervous about meeting new people and making new friends. Alyssa got a little overwhelmed as we entered the school yard. There are after all a ton of kids at Wilberforce. She had a fantastic teacher this year and I know she will excel at everything she does!

Kidscape
We are trying to fit in all the things we missed doing this summer into one week. We sure had a busy summer. It was a blast but there were lots of things we missed, Kidscape was one of them. We were there really early in the morning and could miss the major crowds of kids that go through there. Of course she made friends and he did his own thing. Fun morning!
